Uprated Wossner valve kits for Renault Clio Mk2 RS (172 & 182), Clio Mk3 RS (197 & 200) and Megane Mk2 RS (225 and R26).
Supplied in kits of 8x valves with an oem head diameter (33.5mm intake and 29.00mm exhaust)
Intake valves are single piece stainless steel which is then black nitrided and exhaust valves are available in a choice of one piece nitrided stainless steel or inconel.
Compared to OEM valves, the black nitride coating on the valves provides a lower friction interface with the valve guides and the inconel material the exhaust valves are available in is able to better withstand the high temperatures the exhaust valves see under operation.
Please note the valves have a different collet height compared to oem valves (to help prevent the collet/retainer hitting the valve seals with high lift cams) and therefore the use of uprated valve springs and/or shimming of valve springs is recommended to achieve a suitable valve spring pressure.
