The safest and easiest way to install pistons without damaging your piston or the rings. The gradual taper on these ring compressor sleeves ensure that pistons can be installed gently by hand without the need to use excessive force. The taper compresses the rings such that the pistons slide easily into the bores of the cylinder block during installation.

Using a sleeve with the exact measurement to match your finished bore size ensures that rings do not become trapped or broken when installing.
