GAZ Gold Coilover Suspension Set | Renault Clio 197 & 200 | Mk3 RS
Gaz Gold height adjustable coilover kits are a premium range of suspension units designed for tarmac motorsport and the serious track day enthusiast.
These kits are specific to the Renault Clio 197 and 200 Mk3 RS models and feature a full coilover setup for both the front and rear axle and come with an adjustable top mount for the front shocks - allowing adjustments to camber settings.
Key features are:
- Front and rear units adjust bump and rebound from a single control knob on the side of the unit.
- Struts and semi struts have 62mm bodies for increased oil capacity. These units are fitted with 22mm diameter induction hardened piston rods that are hard chrome plated for strength and durability.

All units have multi lip sealing. The outer seal is a metal encased wiper to clean the piston rod. This in turn extends main seal performance and oil retention under extreme conditions.
- All the Gold range are fitted with a gas cell in the outer reservoir and filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade in motor racing conditions.
- The coilovers and telescopic units in this range utilise lightweight billet alloy components where possible, i.e. bases, end fittings, seats, lockrings, rod guides and gland nuts.

The outer tube is steel with a black zinc plated coating to provide the best anti corrosive finish possible. All outer alloy components are anodised.
- A full range of springs are stocked at the factory for road and motorsport use.
All units are custom built to order and therefore please expect a lead time of approx 4-6 weeks from the date of order. Please also note that as these are a custom order item, they are not eligible for return.
Please ensure that you select the correct car model when ordering. Later Clio 200 models have a different, more triangular, front top mount which are different to the Clio 197 and early Clio 200. Please get in touch if you are unsure which style top mount you require.
All units will be ordered to a standard spring rate of 550 lb/in front and 450 lb/in rear which is a balanced setup for track use. If you require custom spring rates, please select this option when ordering and provide the details during the checkout process.
