GAZ Gold Coilover Suspension Set | Renault Clio 172 & 182 | Mk2 RS

Gaz Gold height adjustable coilover kits are a premium range of suspension units designed for tarmac motorsport and the serious track day enthusiast. 

These kits are specific to the Renault Clio 172 and 182 Mk2 RS models and feature a full coilover setup for both the front and rear axle.

Key features are:

• Front and rear units adjust bump and rebound from a single control knob on the side of the unit.
• Struts and semi struts have 62mm bodies for increased oil capacity. These units are fitted with 22mm diameter induction hardened piston rods that are hard chrome plated for strength and durability.
• All units have multi lip sealing. The outer seal is a metal encased wiper to clean the piston rod. This in turn extends main seal performance and oil retention under extreme conditions.
  
• All the Gold range are fitted with a gas cell in the outer reservoir and filled with a high viscosity index multi grade oil to prevent cavitation and reduce fade in motor racing conditions.
• The coilovers and telescopic units in this range utilise lightweight billet alloy components where possible, i.e. bases, end fittings, seats, lockrings, rod guides and gland nuts. 
• The outer tube is steel with a black zinc plated coating to provide the best anti corrosive finish possible. All outer alloy components are anodised.
  
• A full range of springs are stocked at the factory for road and motorsport use.

All units are custom built to order and therefore please expect a lead time of approx 4-6 weeks from the date of order. Please also note that as these are a custom order item, they are not eligible for return.

Please select the correct upright/hub/strut bolt spacing for your car when ordering. It is always best to measure the uprights on your specific car as often parts are swapped on older cars. For reference 60mm bolt spacing on the uprights were standard fit on Clio 182 Cup/Cup pack cars and the Clio Trophy models. 54mm upright bolt spacing was standard on Clio 172 / Clio 172 cup and standard Clio 182 models. All Renault Clio Mk2 RS units will be ordered to a standard spring rate of 400 lb/in front and 400 lb/in rear which is a balanced setup for track/race use. If you require custom spring rates, please select this option when ordering and provide the details during the checkout process.
