A common failure point on Renault Clio Mk3 RS 197 & 200 models is the rear abs sensor stub axle mounting bracket plate. 

These brackets hold the rear ABS sensors in place and as the cars get older these brackets can rust which allows the ABS sensor to move away from the magnetic ring on the brake disc and hence no longer pick up a wheel speed signal - resulting in a warning light on the dash.
