A useful upgrade/replacement for RenaultSport models not fitted with a keyed timing belt pulley as standard.
Clio 172 & Clio 182 models have a timing belt pulley that relies on friction alone to stop the pulley from slipping under heavy use. This version of the timing pulley has a key way which also locks the pulley to the crank, preventing it from slipping. This can help with preventing engine timing from slipping on cars with increased power outputs or those used in competition.
